Newsletter: CCP National PerspectiveAs an employee of Texas Medical Foundation from 1996-1998, I worked as a writer/designer on National Perspective, a quarterly newsletter that was part of the Cooperative Cardiovascular Project (CCP). The goal of the newsletter was to increase medical staff awareness about beneficial methods of treatment and prevention for heart attacks. The newsletter was printed and sent to medical quality improvement organizations throughout the United States. It was also available as a PDF on the project website. |
I performed the following tasks for this newsletter:
- Worked with a project team of medical staff, writers, and designers to develop an overall design and writing style.
- Wrote and edited articles about health-care success stories, medical procedures, and cardic care studies.
- Scanned and edited photo images.
- Performed layout of articles and artwork in Adobe Pagemaker.
- Proofread final drafts for typos.
You can view the following issues of National Perspective as PDFs:
- Vol. 1, Issue 1 (May 1997)
- Vol. 1, Issue 2 (Sept. 1997)
- Vol. 1, Issue 3 (Jan. 1998)
